My Life as a PASUM Student [PASUM 2017/2018] / Experince in Pasum

Hey there!! For today entry I will share to you my genuine experience as a Pasum student for approximate 11 months and be aware that this post is not an exposure of Pasum ( Pusat Asasi Sains Universiti Malaya) .So basically there is Sains Hayat and Sains Fizikal,and I'm enrolled in Sains Hayat cause i don't wanna be an engineer.Haha..

Do I have any regret went to Pasum??

The answer is a YES! Sometimes when life is too diffcult and I have all these mental depression that is the only think that I can think of..watching my other schoolmates have fun,less stress and etc.

The first thing before you realllyyyy sure that Pasum is your "future" there are things that you must be clearly aware of

1)There is NO CUTI for u okay..K not that no cuti at all..but the longest cuti that u can have is only a week.Your semester break is only a week ( means that after sem 1 you only have a week getaway before enter sem2,compare to matrik student they have 2-3 weeks while asasi dengkil about 1-2 months ike that).

2)You have A LOT of thing to study cause u basically study double than other matrik/asasi student as pasum here have like Bio 1,Bio 2 for semester 1 same goes to physics and chemistry.Then for semester 2 you have Bio 3 and Bio 4.Be completely aware that Bio 1 and Bio 2 is not the same thing..Obviously..But during my time,the learning system is so much better cause you will study Physic 1,Chemistry 1 and after finishing all the syllabus then u will continue Physic 2,Chem 2 except for Bio 1 and Bio 2 where u will learn it simultaneously #mindblown

 3) College Room.For girls,don't bring so much stuff during your stay at KUAZ because there ain't no space for you okay.The room provided is small and u only have a one door locker to fit all your clothes.I know this might be a silly reason but i'm telling you cause I have this roommate of mine that keep complaining how small our room compared to matrik.(she is a second intake student,originally she's from matrik..soyeahh).

4)Exam.So,during exam week u will have examination everyday like tuesday to friday.During that time,every single second is the crucial time cause u will need to revise everything for your exam the next day.But for matrik/asasi if i'm not mistaken there is a gap between their examination,so you will have plenty of time to study.

Sorry if i'm scared u soo much about pasum..Let's take a look at the bright sight of Pasum,shall we..

Oh yeah before that,in order for me to kind of change the perspective of mind that u might experince right now,let me share one thing.. My RESULT!

Ehem ehemm sooo alhamdulillah I manage to score 4.00 CGPA for both semester..Totally unexpected but I know with all the tears,hardwork,etc I know it's worth it..Thanks also to my study buddies Tas and Nis,for helping me out..

Lets get excited to go to Pasum!!

1) Awesome activities! In Pasum,there are A LOT of activities that will be held.Basically,at the begining of your pasum years there will be a few clubs that u can join such as KREATIF,SUKREA,ADIN,KEMAS and KEP.All of these 5 clubs will held their own activities which gonna be fun,trust me! If you scared that u can't focus on your studies or whatsoever I suggest u to enter at least 2 clubs.One of the thing that I regret so much during my pasum years is I avoiding so much chances like I didn't enter club that I really want cause i'm scared that I might not able to catch up with my studies..So I ended up quite lonely,don't have a lot of acquaintance.

So take my advice,join every programme and have FUN with your life!

2)Lecturer.One of the reason I love Pasum is because of my  lecturer.All the lecturer in Pasum will always take a good care of you,share knowledge as much as they can,help you if you don't understand anything,give tip off of what gonna be in exam (which is the most important thing).Not just that,sometimes these lecturer is the one who will always tell u to come see them if u have any problem,guide u..Gosh I miss them honestly..
Dr Mazdida,Dr Aisyah,Dr Yusmin,Datin,Dr Fauzani,Encik Helmi,Dr Mahassan,Dr Wan and manymore.Thank you soo much..

Believe me,they will help you in your studies.

3)Study Cube.You wanna know what awesome about Pasum is...drumroll....well we have Study Cube!! Just in case you cannot study in you room cause you'll get sleepy easily,your roommate wants to sleep but you still want to study or you need somewhere is to study..Don't worry cause you have a cube for you to study..For those who got Blok A&B,oopss sorry cause your study cube is not really _______(you can fill that by yourself) but you've got air conditioner.But for Blok C&D you will get a brand new study cube which is realllyyy pretty and convenient,just that it might get hot sometimes cause there is no aircond.For Blok C,the study cube just opened last October which made my batch is the first batch to use it.

4)Friendship.For this point,I want to tribute to my roommate and class mate H_3.When your family live far away,the only one you can really rely on is your friends.Thankyou so muchh! Make sure you friend that brings light to your life..

So yeahh,I think that just it and I hope for you readers that will be going to Pasum,be prepared
mentally and physically and always remember your goals and never everr give up.
Now I want to continue watching Grey's Anatomy :D
